  • Occasional, relevant mention of a product or tool when it directly helps the discussion
  • Use the Reset Recruitment sticky for guild/group recruitment
  • Post surveys or research only with prior mod approval

What gets posts removed

  • Posting direct ads, buying/selling threads, or repeated promotional posts (spam)
  • Recruitment posts outside the weekly Reset Recruitment sticky
  • Low-effort streamer/creator ads or giveaway/poll posts without verification/approval
  • Posting surveys, petitions, or fundraisers without mod permission

No Spam / Excessive Self-Promotion

Promotional content limited to once every 7 days; excessive self-promotion or spam is not allowed.

Recruitment limited to weekly sticky

Guild/group/Discord advertisements are limited to the Reset Recruitment Sticky; external recruitment locations are pointed to specialized subs.

Buying/selling and low-effort ads removed

The sidebar explicitly lists buying/selling posts and low-effort streamer ads as content that will be removed.

Surveys & Giveaways restricted

No petitions/polls/giveaways; academic/research surveys may be allowed only with prior mod approval.

Blizzard ToS and other prohibitions

Posts promoting ToS-violating activity or other disallowed content will be removed, which can affect marketing tactics tied to such activities.
