Can you promote in r/surveyexchange?
Post your survey for others to fill out and fill out one of theirs in return! Pretty much an actual survey exchange.
The short answer
Publicly post a clear survey request using the recommended bracketed type, include target demographics and study details, follow the 24‑hour repost rule, and avoid promotional language or adverts for paid survey platforms.
What works here
- Post surveys (academic, casual, product, etc.) with target demographics
- Ask for respondents and offer to complete others' surveys in return
- Link to survey forms (so long as not promoting paid survey apps)
What gets posts removed
- Promoting or advertising paid survey apps/sites
- Posting promotional copy, recruiting customers, or lead-generation pitches
- Reposting within 24 hours or ignoring moderator discretion
- Sending direct messages to solicit participation
