Can you promote in r/smallyoutubers?

r/SmallYoutubers is a place where people new to YouTube can grow. Our goal if for you learn from each other, and make your channel the best that it can be. YouTube is not easy. It’s also not an overnight success. You need to put in the effort to get to where you want to be. This isn’t a dumping grounds for your videos to hopefully get a few extra views. Please read the rules before posting. We are in this together, and together we can flourish.

The short answer

Do not promote your product or service publicly; offer neutral, helpful advice and, if appropriate, ask to continue privately only after obtaining explicit permission from the OP or mods.

What works here

  • providing genuine, non-promotional feedback
  • participating in discussions and offering tips
  • celebrating milestones only in the Daily Milestone Thread
  • using required flairs and following community rules

What gets posts removed

  • posting links to your product, service, or videos as promotion
  • advertising paid services or recruiting customers
  • posting general self-promotional content or 'dumping' videos
  • using the community to solicit leads, surveys, or signups
