Answer helpfully first, disclose your affiliation, keep any mention of your product brief and value-focused, follow flair/day/megathread rules and avoid overt advertising.

Answer technical questions and provide help with effort shown
Mention your service in comments only if highly relevant and adds value
Post production-ready projects with documentation
Post tools/dashboards on Wednesdays with the correct flair
Share new projects in the current New Project Megathread (if <3 months)

What gets posts removed

Posting direct ads or frequent self-promotion
Posting brand-new projects outside the megathread
Link-dump blog posts without explanation
Ignoring disclosure of affiliation
Posting hosting/VPS ads (explicitly banned)

Says not to spam or promote projects too much; follow Reddit self-promotion guideline; promoted apps must be production ready and have docs; only mention your service in comments if relevant and adds value.

New Projects megathread

Projects younger than 3 months allowed only in the current New Project Megathread.

Tools/Dashboards Wednesday

Dashboards or tools (even if not self-hosted) allowed on Wednesdays if flaired as such.

Blog posts guidance

Blog links allowed but must include explanation of why it matters and how it helps users (no bare link-drops).

Scope requirement

All posts must be about self-hosting and show effort when asking for help.
