The short answer
If you’re a founder replying publicly to a candidate or posting a role, clearly state the job type, pay range, contract length, and include the same info in the post (links allowed); avoid spammy or excessive self-promotional messages.
What works here
- Posting remote job openings that are W2 or >6 month contracts
- Including a reasonable hourly or annual pay range
- Including a link if the post contains the same required info
- Discussing remote work and replying to applicant questions about a posted role
What gets posts removed
- Posting short-term gigs, commission-only roles, or Mercor (permanent ban)
- Posting job-seeking / 'for hire' personal recruiter ads (they're banned)
- Posting without a pay range or required role details
- Excessive posting (more than two job postings weekly) or spammy promotional pitches
