Can you promote in r/photomarket?

Find buyers, sellers, and traders for all your camera equipment, both photo and video. Strictly, ONLY Photography/Videography related items. Computers/peripherals designed for content creation are allowed. Gift cards NOT allowed.

The short answer

Respond helpfully to leads on-thread, avoid posting contact info or external links, follow title/flair/image/price/timestamp rules, and move negotiations to PM when contact details are needed.

What works here

  • Posting selling/buying/trading listings with required [S]/[B]/[T] tag and location
  • Including imgur-hosted, timestamped photos and prices in listings
  • Answering questions about your listed item in comments (without contact info)
  • Using PMs to share contact/payment/shipping details

What gets posts removed

  • Posting contact information in comments or the post body
  • Linking to external marketplace or personal sites
  • Advertising a commercial site or solicitation outside a properly formatted listing
  • Deleting a completed transaction post (will result in ban)
