Can you promote in r/nextjs?

Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications

The short answer

Help publicly with technical Next.js questions, disclose your affiliation if mentioning your product only when directly relevant, and share projects or demos in the weekly show-and-tell thread rather than as standalone posts.

What works here

  • Answer technical Next.js questions
  • Discuss Next.js features, issues, and solutions
  • Share projects in the weekly show-and-tell thread

What gets posts removed

  • Posting product pitches or shilling outside the weekly thread
  • Asking for general feedback or 'rate my site' posts
  • Advertising jobs or recruiting customers

Where this comes from

View the current official rules on Reddit

No shilling; use weekly show and tell

Rule explicitly bans posts shilling products/projects/portfolios and redirects project posts to the weekly show-and-tell thread.

Must be Next.js-specific

Posts must be about the Next.js framework, so off-topic promotional content is not allowed.

No feedback requests

Requests for general feedback or 'rate my website' are disallowed and also directed to the weekly show-and-tell if sharing a project.

No job ads

The community is not a job board and forbids asking for or advertising jobs.
