The short answer

Do not post promotional content or try to solicit users; if you must engage, provide only neutral, helpful advice without mentioning your product or company and follow normal community etiquette.

What works here

  • Answer questions with genuine, non-promotional help
  • Participate as a regular user offering personal experience (no links/offers)
  • Be respectful and supportive in comments

What gets posts removed

  • Posting product launches, demos, or requests for testers
  • Sharing discount codes, affiliate links, or solicitations
  • Conducting surveys, market research, or lead generation
  • Using posts or comments to advertise or recruit customers

No Self-Promotion/Advertising/Surveys/Product Testing

Rule explicitly removes posts made to generate followers, product testing, self-promotion, advertising, sharing discount codes, or market research; such posts will be removed and may lead to bans.

No Soliciting

Rule forbids soliciting donations or funding and directs users to other subreddits; soliciting leads would be treated similarly.

No Spam

Spam will be removed and users permanently banned, including AI/bot accounts — broad prohibition on promotional content.

No standalone product-seeking posts

Sidebar/rules disallow standalone posts seeking must-have or registry products, indicating restrictions on product-related posts.
