What gets posts removed

  • Undisclosed self-promotion or 'stealth' marketing
  • Paywalled/pro-feature locked demos
  • Posting promotional content without prior mod approval when required
  • Soliciting paid customers, outreach, or recruiting without disclosure

No commercial self-promotion

Rule bans posts promoting yourself/brand for monetary gain; advertising only allowed if free version is functionally identical and either FOSS or meets three strict conditions.
