Can you promote in r/indianentrepreneur?

This is a subreddit for all the entrepreneurs from India or have started ventures in India. We can discuss ideas, validate business plans, help fellow redditors out in starting out and bounce ideas off each other.

The short answer

Participate genuinely first, add substantive value (lessons, data, tips), clearly mark any promotional post with the Promotion flair and disclose your affiliation.

What works here

  • Sharing journeys, lessons learned, tips or case-studies
  • Posting about your product/service if it adds real value and uses Promotion flair
  • Using the correct flair for hiring or offers (Hiring / For Hire)

What gets posts removed

  • Direct solicitation or low-effort product pushes
  • Posting without proper flair or repeated identical posts
  • Posting AI-generated content as-is or sharing confidential/illegal info
