  • Using the subreddit to solicit customers or run unapproved promotions
  • Posting haul photos (boxes/unbuilt kits) or spammy frequent posts
  • Putting social handles in post titles or using posts primarily for self-promotion

Q&A thread required for questions

Questions should be posted in the official bi-weekly Q&A thread; that is the preferred place to engage with leads seeking help.

Commerce limited to monthly thread

Buying/selling and commerce requests are directed to the Monthly Commerce Thread rather than standalone posts.

Shop owners must contact mods before posting links

Owners/employees/affiliates are explicitly asked to contact moderators before posting links to their shop, indicating restrictions on direct promotional links.

Creators expected to be community members

Blog/YouTube creators may promote but must be active members and follow reddiquette (participate in Q&A, comment on other posts).

No spam and quality-title rules

The subreddit forbids spam, frequent posts, and titles with social media handles — discouraging overt self-promotion.
