Can you promote in r/globaloffensive?

r/GlobalOffensive is the home for the Counter-Strike community and a hub for the discussion and sharing of content relevant to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), and Counter-Strike 2 (CS2). Counter-Strike enjoys a thriving esports scene and dedicated competitive playerbase, as well as a robust creative community. This is the largest and most active CS sub on Reddit.

The short answer

Participate normally first, keep self-promotion under ~10% of activity, clearly disclose affiliation, avoid direct sales/links unless post type explicitly allows it or you have moderator permission.

What works here

  • Share completed projects (with workshop link when applicable)
  • Promote content occasionally as part of normal participation (<~10% self-promo)
  • Answer queries/help on-topic without overt selling
