Can you promote in r/feedthebeast?

The subreddit for all things related to Modded Minecraft for Minecraft Java Edition --- This subreddit was originally created for discussion around the FTB launcher and its modpacks but has since grown to encompass all aspects of modding the Java edition of Minecraft. The /r/feedthebeast subreddit is not affiliated or associated with the Feed the Beast company.

The short answer

Participate normally, be helpful and transparent (disclose affiliation), and only post about your mod/modpack at most once per week without file links or overt advertising.

What works here

  • Discussing and troubleshooting mods and modpacks
  • Showcasing your own mod or modpack (max one per week per project/person)
  • Sharing helpful, non-commercial advice about modded Minecraft

What gets posts removed

  • Posting advertisements, recruitments, or server host/player requests
  • Including donation, subscription, or paid-only links
  • Posting file links or downloads
  • Spamming repeated promotional posts

Posts containing file links, attachments, or downloads will be removed — do not post direct downloads.
