Can you promote in r/emailmarketing?

A place for email marketing professionals to talk shop.

The short answer

Contribute helpful, on-topic, non-salesy expertise first; if mentioning your product, include a clear disclosure, show novel/useful examples or metrics, avoid links or affiliate deals, and prefer reply in context rather than posting an ad.

What works here

  • Sharing detailed case studies or novel strategies with concrete examples
  • Answering questions with expertise and optionally noting your affiliation
  • Participating regularly before mentioning your product

What gets posts removed

  • Posting overt sales pitches, solicitations, or customer acquisition posts
  • Sharing or offering email lists or data
  • Using referral/affiliate links or undisclosed affiliations
  • Asking for or advising on cold email tactics
