Self-promotional advertising or solicitation banned

Rules explicitly prohibit promotion of web content, products, services, companies you own or are affiliated with, referral/affiliate links, PM/DM requests, soliciting business or recruiting.

Pre-approval required for customer service or tools

Customer service replies and open-sourced tools require moderator approval before posting or responding.

Abuse of the community forbids research/testing

Using the community as test subjects, conducting market research, or testing products/services on members is disallowed.

Solicitations and surveys restricted
