Can you promote in r/depop?

Do not post about your product or company; if you must engage, provide purely non-promotional support or answer questions without mentioning your product and follow mod approval procedures for surveys/AMAs.

What works here

  • asking and answering Depop-related support questions
  • participating in monthly shop-critique thread (for shop help)
  • posting a survey/AMA only after mod approval (one allowed post after approval)

What gets posts removed

  • advertising, soliciting, or trying to sell items/services
  • posting links, shop/item links, or recruitment/lead-generation
  • promoting apps, app extensions, tools, or hosting unapproved AMAs
  • sharing personal usernames or contacting users to solicit business

No Advertising or Solicitation

Advertising or trying to sell items is banned and will result in a ban; solicitation (asking for usernames or shop links) is disallowed.

Apps/AMAs/Surveys require mod approval or are banned

Promotion of apps, app tools, app extensions, or hosting your own AMAs isn't allowed; surveys require messaging the mod team and approval and are allowed only once.

Keep it Related to Depop

Posts must be about buying/selling on Depop only; promotion of other selling sites will be removed.

Shop critique limited to monthly thread

Requests for shop critique/item help must go into the pinned monthly thread, not as standalone posts.

Personal info and harassment restrictions

Strict rules about not sharing usernames/personal info and no harassment limit outreach methods and contacting users.
