Can you promote in r/claudeskills?

Skills are folders of instructions, scripts, and resources that Claude loads dynamically to improve performance on specialized tasks. Skills teach Claude how to complete specific tasks in a repeatable way, whether that's creating documents with your company's brand guidelines, analyzing data using your organization's specific workflows, or automating personal tasks. You no longer need a folder full on prompts, you upload once and simply ask Claude to use that skill whenever you need it.

The short answer

Be transparent and helpful: post on-topic content, include a link or explanation of how the skill works and whether it's free/paid, use the correct flair, and avoid spammy language or affiliate/reselling behavior.

What works here

  • Sharing your own skill with repo/download link or technical explanation
  • Announcing news or launches with details and appropriate flair
  • Answering/helping users about using or building skills

What gets posts removed

  • Posting promotional content without technical details or links
  • Using clickbait titles, link shorteners, affiliate/resale offers
  • Cross-posting the same promotion across many subs or low-effort posts
