Rule 1 and sidebar state posting your own blog/website/app or soliciting business (including asking users to DM you) will be removed and can get you banned.
No commercial spam
Rule 2 allows discussion of commercial products in context but forbids repeated low-value pointers or 'shilling' a product page.
No research or recruiting users
Rule 7 prohibits posts that solicit user input for developing software or tools (research questions).
No AI product promotion
Rule 6 forbids AI-generated posts/comments and promotion of AI-based bookkeeping software.
Rare link exceptions
Sidebar notes rare exceptions may be made for links that are clearly relevant to the discussion, implying very limited, contextual linking is tolerated.
