Can you promote in r/autismcore?

A light-hearted space for autistic people to talk about interests, share memes and more!

The short answer

Participate normally first, disclose your affiliation, keep promotion rare and low-effort, and avoid mass outreach or links unless clearly relevant and permitted.

What works here

  • Occasional self-advertisement at a minimum (about once every two weeks)
  • Respectful, on-topic posts and replies
  • Discussing topics or sharing memes as a community member

What gets posts removed

  • Frequent promotional posts or repeated solicitations
  • Mass-distributed messages, automated posts, or spammy behavior
  • Aggressive recruiting, surveys or commercial pitches without context

Limit self-advertisements

Sidebar explicitly allows self-advertising but only at a minimum frequency (once every two weeks), so promotion must be infrequent.

No spam

Spam and mass-distributed unsolicited messages are forbidden, so outreach must not be bulk or automated.

Be respectful

General community conduct requires respectful tone; promotional replies should be considerate and not fearmongering.
