  • Asking for PMs, leads, surveys, or recruiting customers
  • Framing replies primarily to generate business

Do not ask for PMs

Rule explicitly forbids asking for PMs or contacting contributors directly, blocking private lead collection.

No homework/surveys/research

The rules prohibit surveys and research requests, which covers solicitations and lead-generation activities.

Content must be on-topic workplace questions

Every thread must contain a question about employment or a workplace topic, so promotional posts are off-topic.
