The short answer

Engage organically: answer questions, provide helpful non‑promotional information, disclose any affiliation if you mention your product, and avoid direct advertising, affiliate links, or survey/lead solicitations.

What works here

  • Answer questions and give expert advice about archery
  • Share non-commercial photos, experiences, tips, and tutorials
  • Mention a product for transparency (briefly) while focusing on help

What gets posts removed

  • Posting direct advertisements, product launches, or self-promotion as primary content
  • Using affiliate links or links that appear to be spam
  • Posting buy/sell/valuation listings or soliciting survey responses

Subreddit explicitly marks affiliate links as spam and calls out submissions that are simply advertisements as self-promotion.

Buy/Sell posts removed

Buy/sell and valuation posts are not allowed in the subreddit.

No surveys/studies

Studies or surveys may not be posted, so solicitations for data or leads are disallowed.

Content must contribute / be archery related

Content is expected to contribute to the sub; posts must be archery related and voters/mods enforce quality and relevance.

Moderators have discretion

Mods can remove or approve items not explicitly on the list and have final say.
