Can you promote in r/alphaandbetausers?

Our innovators need people to use their products to give them feedback! It is hard enough to develop a product. Let's make it easier for them to recruit the critical early users that they need to tell them how to make their products better.

The short answer

Post a clear [platform, stage] submission with a short product description and a direct link to the live product, disclose your role, and be prepared to test others' products.

What works here

  • Link to a live alpha/beta product ready for testing
  • Tag title with platform and stage (e.g., [Android, Alpha])
  • Include a product description and testing instructions
  • Participate by testing other submissions

What gets posts removed

  • Posting pages that only collect emails/registration for future testing
  • Posting products not actually in alpha/beta or that appear as spam
  • NSFW product posts
  • Expecting to solicit users without providing a live testable product
