Can you promote in r/airsoft3dprinting?

3D printing parts, guns, and other things related to airsoft. NO REAL GUNS for DIY stuff other than 3D printing also check out r/airsoftGunsDIY

The short answer

Participate organically first, answer leads with helpful, non-promotional advice, disclose affiliation if relevant, and only add a link to a paid file in a comment under your own post when allowed.

What works here

  • Answer questions and participate in discussions about airsoft 3D printing
  • Post relevant project content with proper flair
  • Link Cults/etc paid files in a comment under your own post (not as a link post)

What gets posts removed

  • Making posts that are overt advertisements, product launches, or storefront links
  • Posting direct link posts to webstores or using URL shorteners
  • Repeatedly spamming links or soliciting customers
  • Bothering designers or aggressively promoting your product to them

Where this comes from

View the current official rules on Reddit

No advertisement

Rule explicitly forbids advertisement posts and selling products; company showcases or file listings are prohibited unless mods permit.

Paid files flair requirement

Paid Files on Cults/etc must use the 'Paid Files' flair and are excluded from Work in Progress projects.

Don't bother designers

Relevance and quality rules
